THURSDAY 1ST FEBRUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Matz Sels (Nottingham Forest): Experienced Belgium goalkeeper Matz Sels has signed for Nottingham Forest from French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg in a late move, for a fee of around £5m, ending a six-year stay in Strasbourg. The 31-year-old has joined Forest on a three-and-a-half year deal which will see the goalkeeper, who previously played for Newcastle from 2016 until 2018, back in England. Sels was Strasbourg's first-choice goalkeeper and made 19 appearances for the French side this season. Sels will wear the number 26 shirt at the City ground.

RUMOURED DEALS:

• METRO: Alex Runarsson (Arsenal): Arsenal have terminated the contract of Iceland international goalkeeper Alex Runarsson, with the goalkeeper due to join FC Copenhagen on a free transfer. The Gunners loaned Runarsson to Championship side Cardiff City in August but have reportedly terminated the loan and he is now set for a permanent move to Champions League team FC Copenhagen instead, as a replacement for Kamil Grabara. After joining Arsenal in 2020 from French side Dijon, the goalkeeper made a total of six appearances for the Gunners. The 28-year-old has been capped 27 times by Iceland and was part of their squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

WEDNESDAY 31ST JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Oliver Semmle (The Philadelphia Union): The Philadelphia Union have acquired goalkeeper Oliver Semmle from USL Championship side Louisville City FC on a contract through the 2025 MLS season with an option for 2026. Last year, the 25-year-old German goalkeeper racked up 13 clean sheets and 72 saves in his 32 appearances for Louisville City. Before joining Louisville City FC, Semmle was part of the Karlsruher SC academy from 2012 to 2018. In 2018, Semmle moved to the United States to play college football for four years, winning a number of accolades. In February 2023. Semmle signed with USL Championship side Louisville City. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

VITAL FOOTBALL: Nathan Shepperd (Free Agent): Oxford United are said to be keen on signing former Brentford goalkeeper Nathan Shepperd.  The 23-year-old, who is currently without a club, having left Dundalk at the beginning of the month, reportedly also being eyed by Wycombe and Salford. The former Swansea academy player and Wales U21 international spent three years with the Brentford B team, prior to joining the League of Ireland Premier Division club in January 2022on a free transfer.

TUESDAY 30TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Sarah Bouhaddi (Arsenal): Ex-France goalkeeper and free agent Sarah Bouhaddi has joined Premier League club Arsenal on a short term deal. The goalkeeper began her senior career with Clairefontaine in 2002, before moving to Toulouse and Juvisy. She joined Olympique Lyonnais in 2009 where she spent the next 13 years, helping the Women's First Division side to win 11 league titles, eight French Cups and eight UEFA Women's Champions Leagues. Bouhaddi joined PSG in 2022 on a one-year deal.She has 149 international caps for France and has won several awards including UEFA Champions League Goalkeeper of the Season in 2019/20 and the FIFA Best Women’s Goalkeeper in 2020. She is France's most-capped goalkeeper.

Comfort Erhabor (Hibernian): Goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor joins Scottish Women’s Premier League side Hibernian on a loan deal for the remainder of the season, just after signing her first professional contract with Brighton & Hove Albion. Comfort made 15 appearances for the women's under-19s since joining from West Ham United in March 2023, including the Nike Cup final which the academy side won in October 2023 against Tottenham Hotspur. Last summer she travelled to Seville to train with Melissa Phillips’s first-team squad at their pre-season camp. Erhabor is eligible to play for Nigeria through her parents. Joining Hibs will give the talented goalkeeper some more valuable experience.

MONDAY 29TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Manuela Zinsberger (Arsenal): Arsenal goalkeeper Manuela Zinsberger has signed a new contract with the club. The 28-year-old, who joined the Gunners from Bayern Munich in 2019, has played 11 of the club's 12 Women's Super League games this season. The Austrian international goalkeeper has been capped 95 times by her country and has made 113 appearances for Arsenal, keeping 49 clean sheets. Zinsberger began her career at youth level at USV Leitzersdorf and SV Stockerau before moving into adult football with USVG Großrußbach followed by four years at SV Neulengbach, after which she signed a three-year contract with Bayern Munich. 

André Ferreira (Real Valladolid): Portuguese goalkeeper André Ferreira has been loaned from Spanish La Liga club Granada CF to Second Division Real Valladolid, until the end of the season. 27-year-old Ferreira began his goalkeeping career at Vilanovense, playing also for club União Nogueirense F.C. from where he signed for S.L. Benfica at the age of 16. He moved to Santa Clara, also in Portugal’s top tier of football, on a four-year deal in 2019. After a spell with F.C. Pacos de Ferreira he signed for Granada, helping them win promotion to La Liga in 2023. The goalkeeper lost his starting spot at Granada to new arrival Augusto Batalla. 

Andreas Luthe (Bochum): Veteran German goalkeeper Andreas Luthe has rejoined Bochum as back-up for Manuel Riemann from Kaiserslautern until the end of the season. The 36-year old began his career with SuS Niederbonsfeld, later joining Borussia Velbert before signing for Bochum's youth side in 2001. He was promoted to Bochum's reserve team in 2006 and made 75 appearances until 2010. After 4 seasons with FC Augsburg he joined Union Berlin in 2020, from where he went on to sign for FC Kaiserslautern in 2022. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

• SEMPRE INTER: Gabriel Brazao (Inter Milan): Inter Milan owned Brazilian professional goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao is set to end his loan spell with Italian Serie B club Ternana, which he joined in the summer transfer window, and join Brazilian Serie A side Santos on loan for the rest of the season. At the age of 19, Brazao moved abroad to Italy having signed for Parma, where he spent six months before signing a five-year deal with Inter Milan. After spending a couple of seasons on loan at Spanish clubs Albacete and Oviedo, Brazao returned to his boyhood club Cruzeiro on another loan but was injured early on. When he recovered he joined SPAL in Serie B on loan. 

SUNDAY 28TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Maxime Dupé (Nice): OGC Nice have signed goalkeeper Maxime Dupé from RSC Anderlecht on undisclosed terms. The 30-year-old shot-stopper arrives at the French Ligue 1 club as a backup to Nice's number one, Polish goalkeeper Marcin Bulka after the departure of Sirigu. Dupé joined Anderlecht from Toulouse FC on a free transfer in the summer. The goalkeeper joined Nantes youth set up in 2008, signing his first professional contract with the club four years later, followed by a one-year loan to Clermont before joining Toulouse in 2020. He signed a two-year contract with Anderlecht last summer. 

Marc Martínez (Granada): Spanish goalkeeper Marc Martínez joins La Liga club Granada from Cartagena on an agreed one and a half years deal for €150,000. The 33-year-old Barcelona born shot-stopper was an FC Barcelona youth graduate who signed for Racing de Santander in 2009. He had spells variously with Deportivo La Coruna, Elche and Alcoyano before signing for Second Division outfit Cartagena in 2019, making 126 appearances for the club. Martínez joins the goalkeeping squad led by number one Raúl Fernández.

RUMOURED DEALS:

• DAILY MAIL: David de Gea (Free Agent): Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is said to be in talks with Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab. The one-time Spain international has been without a club since leaving Man United last summer after more than ten years at the club, with which he won the Premier League Golden Glove in his final season. Towards the end of his career with the Red Devils, de Gea's performances came under increasing scrutiny and eventually manager Ten Hag opted to bring in Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana as the club's number one. Since leaving Manchester Utd, de Gea has been linked with various clubs and a deal with Al-Shabab would see the goalkeeper make a comeback into the game after more than six months without a club.

RUMOURED DEALS:

• GOAL.COM: Peter Gulácsi (RB Leipzig): Nottingham Forest are reported to be targeting RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi this January, with the Hungarian shot-stopper still preferring to stay put and fight for his place after losing his starting spot to Janis Blaswich while he was out with a long-term injury.  The 33-year-old is well renowned having 51 caps to his name for Hungary , but has only played three games in all competitions for Leipzig this season.

FRIDAY 26TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Hákon Valdimarsson (Brentford): The Bees have signed Iceland goalkeeper Hákon Valdimarsson from Swedish Allsvenskan League club IF Elfsborg until June 2028 for an undisclosed fee. Valdimarsson is Brentford’s third first-team signing in the January transfer window. The 22-year-old was named 2023 Goalkeeper of the Year in the Swedish top flight, having kept the most clean sheets in the division and the highest save percentage. Hákon has featured for the U-18, U-19 and U-21 Iceland youth teams and has won five Iceland caps, having made his debut against Portugal in November 2023. The 6ft 4in keeper will be competing with Mark Flekken and Thomas Strakosha for a starting spot at Brentford. 

Steven Hall (Brighton & Hove Albion): Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion have signed goalkeeper Steven Hall from Isuzu UTE A-League side Adelaide United for an undisclosed transfer fee on a deal until 2027. The 19-year-old will initially be part of the Under-21 side in England. Hall joined Adelaide in 2021-22 and made his A-League debut on New Year’s Day 2022 aged just 16, the youngest goalkeeper in the competition’s history and going on to make four senior appearances for the club. 

THURSDAY 25TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Radek Vitek (Accrington Stanley): Manchester United goalkeeper Radek Vitek has signed a new contract with the club until June 2027 and has secured a loan switch to League Two side Accrington Stanley for the rest of the 2023/24 season. Vitek joined the Reds in 2020 from Czech First League club Sigma Olomouc.  At United, the young goalkeeper has featured regularly playing for the under-18s and under-23s,  as well as in the under-19 Uefa Youth League and in the 2022 FA Youth Cup final win over Nottingham Forest. 

WEDNESDAY 24TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Horatiu Moldovan (Atletico Madrid): 26-year old Romanian goalkeeper Horatiu Moldovan has joined Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid on a  three-and-a-half-year contract for a fee of €800,000, representing his release clause. Moldovan spent a large part of his early career at his hometown side of CFR Cluj, later going on loan and transferring s to a number of clubs until in January 2021 he moved to Liga II side  Rapid Bucuresti on a one-and-a-half-year contract, where he became a regular starter.  In May 2023 Moldovan agreed to a one-year contract extension lasting until the summer of 2025. The goalkeeper will be a back-up for Jan Oblak at Atletico Madrid, with Ivo Grbic expected to join Sheffield Utd in the coming days. 

Joe Wright (Galway United): Goalkeeper Joe Wright has left EFL Championship side Millwall to join League of Ireland Premier Division side Galway United on a permanent deal. Wright came up through the academy at Millwall after joining at the age of 13 and was offered a professional contract at The Den in 2019. The 22-year-old was at one time a regular for Kevin Nugent's Under 21s side in South London but despite featuring in matchday squads for the Lions did not make a first team appearance. Wright has had spells on loan at Bath City and Salford. The 22-year-old will provide competition for current number one Brendan Clarke at Galway Utd. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

• SPORTSKEEDA: Alvaro Valles (Las Palmas): Real Madrid are said to be eyeing UD Las Palmas goalkeeper Alvaro Valles. The 26-year-old goalkeeper, whose contract is expiring this summer, could join Los Blancos as a free agent. Interest in him has arisen due to the goalkeeping situation at the club, with current number one Thibaut Courtois who is out with a serious injury, causing uncertainty around when he will return. Additionally, backup 'keeper Andriy Lunin's contract is due to expire next summer, and Kepa Arrizabalaga is likely to return to Chelsea in the summer, these situations leading Real Madrid to look to strengthen the goalkeeping position. Valles' performances make him one of La Liga's top goalkeepers this season. 

TUESDAY 23RD JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Melina Loeck (Brighton & Hove Albion): The Seagulls have signed goalkeeper Melina Loeck from Swedish side Kristianstads DFF for undisclosed terms. The 23-year-old began her professional career with Wolfsburg in 2016 in her native Germany, where she predominantly played in the Wolfsburg II squad for six seasons, before moving on in 2020 to Kristianstad in Sweden to compete in the Swedish League for the last four seasons. 

Luke McNicholas (Wrexham): Goalkeeper Luke McNicholas has completed a permanent move to EFL League Two club Wrexham on a two-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee. The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international began his professional career at  Sligo Rovers where he established himself as number 1. McNicholas joined newly promoted Wrexham on 11 August 2023, on a short-term loan move in the summer with a view to a permanent switch, with the option for Wrexham to buy in January 2024. 

Max Boruc (Arbroath): Polish goalkeeper Max Boruc has completed a January loan move to Arbroath until the end of the season. Having featured just four times since he signed for Hibs in the summer from Polish outfit Slask Wroclaw, with David Marshall regularly picked between the sticks, this loan move signifies a good opportunity for the 21-year-old goalkeeper to go out and play regular football in the competitive Scottish Championship league. Boruc made his debut for Hibs in a UEFA Europa Conference League qualifier. Boruc – who is a a cousin of former Celtic keeper Artur Boruc - began his career at Husqvarna FF in Sweden before spells with Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion’s academies and signing for Slask Wroclaw in 2021. 

MONDAY 22ND JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Lewis Ward (Charlton Athletic): Goalkeeper Lewis Ward has joined EFL League One side Charlton Athletic from Swindon Town on a free transfer until the end of the season, with a club option of an additional year. The 26-year-old came up through the ranks at Reading Academy, going on loan to a number of clubs between 2014-19, including Hungerford Town, Aldershot Town, Northampton Town and Forest Green Rovers. In 2019 he signed a two-year contract with Exeter City and following a loan to Portsmouth joined Swindon Town. Ward is a former England U16 international. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

• TRIBAL FOOTBALL: Horatiu Moldovan (Rapid Bucharest): Romania and Rapid Bucharest goalkeeper Horatiu Moldovan is reported to have landed in Madrid to undergo a medical examination prior to signing for Atletico Madrid on a cut-price deal due to run for the next four and a half seasons, worth in the region of just £680,000.  Moldovan is being brought in to the Spanish club to cover the imminent departure of Ivo Grbic to Sheffield United, thereby taking on the backup role to number one Jan Oblak at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium. The 26-year-old Romanian was said to be a main target of Celtic in this transfer window. 

SUNDAY 21ST JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:  

Tiernan Brooks (Rochdale): 20-year old goalkeeper Tiernan Brooks has joined Rochdale AFC on loan from Notts County until the end of the season, with boss Jimmy McNulty revealing that the club had been interested in Brooks back in the summer. The goalkeeper represents the Republic of Ireland at youth international level. His youth career began at Sheffield Wednesday before he joined Notts County's Academy. During his time at Notts Country he went out on loan to a number of different clubs including Lincoln United, Boston United and Cork City.

RUMOURED DEALS:

• SPORTS MOLE: Ivo Grbic (Atletico Madrid): Sheffield United are reportedly at an advanced stage of discussion to sign Croatian goalkeeper Ivo Grbic from Atletico Madrid in the current transfer window. The 28-year-old Croatian signed for Croatian top division side Lokomotiva in summer 2018 where he spent two years before signing for Atletico Madrid in August 2020. He has not had much playing time for Atletico where he is the backup 'keeper to Jan Oblak. It is reported that the Croatian currently has only six months left of his contract and that the club is now open to selling him. Sheffield United is said to be ready to pay around 2.5 million euros for the goalkeeper. 

SATURDAY 20TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:  

Ivor Pandur (Hull City): Hull City have signed Croatian goalkeeper Ivor Pandur from Dutch side Fortuna Sittard on a three-and-a-half-year deal with an option to remain for an extra 12 months, for an undisclosed fee. Pandur began his career at HNK Rijeka in Croatia's top division Supersport HNL, before moving to Italian side Hellas Verona in 2020. He moved to the Netherlands in the summer of 2022 and made his debut  for Fortuna Sittard on 27 August, playing  47 league games for the club.

Michael McGovern (Livingstone): Scottish Premiership club Livingston have signed Hearts goalkeeper Michael McGovern on loan until the end of the season. The 39-year-old has yet to make a competitive appearance for Hearts since he arrived at Tynecastle in the summer. The Northern Ireland international brings a wealth of experience to the club, having previously played for Falkirk, Hamilton and Norwich and winning 32 caps for Northern Ireland. 

FRIDAY 19TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Manuela Zinsberger (Arsenal): Arsenal goalkeeper Manuela Zinsberger has extended her contract with Arsenal after four and a half seasons at the club. In the goalkeeper's own words, her decision to stay has been influenced by a number of factors, namely her teammates and the unwavering support of the fans. Manuela joined the Gunners from Bayern Munich in May 2019, and made her debut against West Ham United on the opening day of the 2019/20 Barclays Women’s Super League season and in this time has made 113 appearances for Arsenal, keeping 49 clean sheets.

Filip Marschall (MK Dons): MK Dons have signed Aston Villa keeper Filip Marschall until the end of the 2023-24 campaign. The 20-year-old arrives as Craig MacGillivray moves to Stevenage on loan. Marschall made his Villa debut playing 90 minutes in the the Europa Conference League last month.  At Villa, he has been a regular on the bench for Unai Emery’s side and is  under contract at Villa Park until June 2027 following his most recent extension in 2022. Marschall came up through the Cambridge City and Aston Villa academies and has represented England at U19, being eligible for both England and Poland. 

Craig MacGillivray (Stevenage): Stevenage have signed 31-year-old MK Dons and former Portsmouth and Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season, less than six months after signing for the Dons. MacGillivray brings a wealth of experience to the squad, having made over 200 appearances in League One and Two over the past decade. Since arriving at MK Dons as a free agent, the goalkeeper played 25 times for the club as first-choice 'keeper, keeping 6 clean sheets, following his departure from Burton.

Benedicte Håaland (Free agent): 25-year-old Norwegian professional footballer Benedicte Håaland departs Women's Super League club Bristol City at the end of her short-term deal having signed for the club in mid-November. During her time with the Robins, Håaland made three appearances. The Norwegian, who previously played for the Robins in 2020/21, had returned to the club as cover for the injured Kaylan Marckese. The shot-stopper has had spells with Iceland club UMF Selfoss, Hellas Verona in Italy and Hibernian in the Scottish Women’s Premier League. Håaland has played for the Norwegian U17 and U19 national teams. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

• TEAMtalk: Ivan Provedel (Lazio): Manchester United are said to be interested in signing Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel. The 29-year-old is seen as an option by Ten Hag who is keen to add more quality to the goalkeeping department. Provedel is currently enjoying a very productive 2023-2024 season, having conceded only 27 goals and racking up 10 clean sheets in 27 games. 

THURSDAY 18TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Lilie Woods (Newcastle United): Newcastle United have signed 20-year-old Northern Ireland goalkeeper Lilie Woods from Mid Ulster to bolster the club's goalkeeping department. Woods, 20, came through the academy at Mid Ulster and helped the club to promotion to the Women's Premiership in 2022. Woods made her senior debut for Northern Ireland in July 2023 when she played and won against Czech Republic. Woods will provide competition with goalkeepers Grace Donnelly, Hannah Reid and Elen Valentine. The goalkeeper began her footballing journey as a striker before taking up her position between the sticks. 

Joe Walsh (Queens Park Rangers): Goalkeeper Joe Walsh has returned to Queens Park Rangers. Kent-born Walsh joined local club Gillingham at the age of 11 and was given a scholarship in late 2017. Two years later he signed a professional contract with the club. Walsh joined Championship side Queens Park Rangers at the start of 2021 for an undisclosed fee on a three and a half year contract, during which he spent several spells on loan, notably to Hampton & Richmond Borough, Dorking Wanderers and Maidenhead United. On 7 December 2023, Walsh joined Accrington Stanley on an emergency seven-day loan which was twice extended until his return to QPR this month. 

Chituru Odunze (Charlotte FC): Charlotte FC have signed goalkeeper Chituru Odunze from MLS NEXT Pro side Crown Legacy FC under contract through the 2027 MLS season with an option for 2028. Born in the US, the 21-year-old ‘keeper moved to England as a child, spending time in Chelsea’s academy. In 2019 Odunze joined Leicester City and in August 2023 he signed for Crown Legacy FC, producing nine saves and keeping one clean sheet. Odunze is eligible to play for the United States, England, Canada, and Nigeria.

RUMOURED DEALS: 

• FABRIZIO ROMANO: Hákon Rafn Valdimarsson (Elfsborg): Aston Villa is reported to have sent a formal bid in  excess of €2m for Elfsborg and Iceland goalkeeper Hakon Rafn Valdimarsson. The 22 year old is wanted by several clubs including Celtic. Hákon has featured for the U-18, U-19 and U-21 Iceland youth teams, making his debut in 2018, 2019 and 2021 respectively. Valdimarsson started his career as an outfield player for the youth sides of KR, switching to the goalkeeping position when he moved to Grótta in 2015. In the summer of 2021 Hákon joined Allvenskan side IF Elfsborg, winning the Allsvenskan goalkeeper of the year award at the end of the 22/23 season. 

WEDNESDAY 17TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Scott Morris (Stoke City): EFL Championship club Stoke City have confirmed the signing of Christchurch United goalkeeper Scott Morris. The 22-year-old New Zealand youth international has signed a contract until the end of the 2024/25 season. The former Wairarapa United and Hawkes Bay United player recorded some outstanding performances, racking up 12 clean sheets in 20 appearances for Christchurch United, who won the Southern League and the Chatham Cup. 

Maxime Crepeau (Portland Timbers): MLS Western Conference club The Portland Timbers have signed free agent goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau for the 2025 season with a club option for the 2026 season. This will be the 29-year-old's 12^th MLS season, the last two of which he spent with Los Angeles FC. He has also played for the Vancouver Whitecaps and Montreal Impact. The Canada international has 100 MLS appearances and two trophies to his name. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

• ASTON VILLA NEWS: Filip Marschall (Aston Villa): 20-year-old Aston Villa goalkeeper Filip Marschall is reportedly set to join League Two outfit MK Dons on loan. This temporary deal until the end of the season will see the England youth international gain more experience and first team exposure. Marschall has been on the bench since his first and only appearance for the Villans against Zrinjski in the Europa Conference League mid-December. There remains some uncertainty over his future at Villa once the loan at MK Dons ends. 

TUESDAY 16TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Louie Moulden (Northampton): Wolves and England youth international goalkeeper Louie Moulden has joined League One club Northampton on loan for the rest of the season, having been recalled from his successful season-long loan with Rochdale where he has spent the first half of this season, playing 28 times, and racking up six clean sheets and five assists. The 22-year-old joined Wolves in the summer of 2021, and moved to Solihull a year later. In January 2023 he returned to Wolves and after six months left for Rochdale on a loan transfer. 

Salvatore Sirigu (Fatih Karagümrük): Former Paris Saint-Germaine goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu has joined Turkish side Fatih Karagümrük and leaves Le Gym without having played a single minute, having been brought in to the French club as cover for Marcin Bulka on a free transfer in September 2023. The 27-year-old began his career with Italian Serie B club Venezia and then Palermo, before moving to PSG in 2011 on a four year contract. The veteran keeper has spent time variously at European clubs including Sevilla, Osasuna and Fiorentina. 

Nick Hayes (Solihull Moors): Ipswich Town goalkeeper Nick Hayes has extended his loan spell with National League side Solihull Moors until the end of the season. 24-year-old Hayes came up through Ipswich Town's academy and spent time with Dunstable, Norwich, Hemel, Salford and most recently Southend, before returning to the Blues in January 2022. He joined The Moors on December 15 and has kept two clean-sheets in six appearances. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

• GOAL.COM: Diego Kochen (Barcelona): Talented 18-year-old goalkeeper Kochen, currently at Barcelona, is the subject of a tug-of-war. Eligible to play for Venezuela and Peru but born in Florida, the 6'2 goalkeeper has only represented the United States at youth levels. Now Spain are entering the mix, with national team coach keen to persuade the youngster to pledge his allegiance to the national team. It remains to be seen which country Kochen eventually decides for. 

MONDAY 15TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Sebastian Breza (CF Montreal): Quebec-born goalkeeper Sebastian Breza has re-joined CF Montreal on a permanent transfer from Bologna FC, signing a two-season deal for 2024 and 2025, with options for the next two seasons. The move is being seen as a strategic one as he is a key defensive asset and a familiar face, having made an impact at Montreal in 2021 and 2022, and crucially helping the club win the 2021 Canadian Championship. The 25-year-old goalkeeper gained experience in the lower divisions of Italian soccer before signing for Bologna FC in January 2020. 

Sharif Shuaib (Hearts of Oak): Ghanaian club Hearts of Oak have signed goalkeeper Sharif Shuaib ahead of the start of the second round of the Premier League, to strengthen the goalkeeping department and provide competition to goalkeepers Richard Attah and Richmond Ayi. The talented goalkeeper has previous experience from former Premier League side Inter Allies. His signing is seen not only as key to the team's success but as an inspiration for young footballers in Ghana.

• FOOTBALL INSIDER: Lewis Ward (Swindon Town): Swindon Town goalkeeper Lewis Ward is reported to be undergoing a medical at Charlton Athletic today prior to signing for the Addicks on a permanent deal after successful negotiations between the two sides to bring in the 26-year-old shot-stopper as competition and cover for Charlton goalkeepers Ashley Maynard-Brewer and Harry Isted. Ward, who came up through the ranks at Reading Academy, has also had spells at Exeter, Aldershot, Forest Green Rovers, Sutton United, Northampton Town and Fylkir Reykjavík, among others, and has 117 senior career appearances and 30 clean sheets to his name. 

SUNDAY 14TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Liam Hughes (FC Haka): Former Liverpool goalkeeper Liam Hughes has signed for Finnish Veikkausliiga side FC Haka on a free transfer, six months after being released from the Reds, having been initially signed in 2021 as a training goalkeeper. The 22-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Veikkausliiga side, who are preparing for a 2024 campaign that begins in the Liigacup later this month. Hughes is a former Northern Ireland international who made his senior debut for Portadown at the age of 15. After a season at Dungannon Swifts, Hughes signed for Celtic where he spent three years before signing for Liverpool. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

• DAILY MAIL: Anthony Patterson (Sunderland): Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reported to be targeting Sunderland goalkeeper Anthony Patterson as a potential replacement for Reds' number two Caoimhin Kelleher in the event that he leaves the club during the summer transfer window. At 23, Patterson has already made over 100 appearances for Sunderland. 

SATURDAY 13TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS: 

Tommy Simkin (Forest Green Rovers): Stoke City goalkeeper Tommy Simkin has joined League Two Forest Green Rovers until the end of the season. The highly rated shot-stopper impressed whilst on loan at Solihull Moors during the first half of the season, and was subsequently recalled by parent club Stoke in November. The young goalkeeper progressed through the Stoke City Academy and signed a professional contract in April 2022. Following a one-month loan to Fylde AFC, in July 2023 Simkin signed a new long-term contract with Stoke and moved to Solihull Moors for the 23/24 season. He was recalled by Stoke in November 2023.

RUMOURED DEALS:

• SPORT: Ellie Roebuck (Manchester City): England goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck is in advanced negotiations with Barcelona about a potential move from current club Manchester City. The 11-time capped Lioness, whose contract will expire soon, has had little playing time at the Citizens, and is said to be close to agreeing a move to the reigning European champions when her contract with City expires this summer on a free transfer. Roebuck started her career at Sheffield United at the age of 15. 

FRIDAY 12TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Joshua Oluwayemi (Finnish Veikkausliiga club Lahti): Finnish Veikkausliiga club FC Lahti have signed Joshua Oluwayemi from EFL League One club Portsmouth on a one-year deal with FC Lahti until the end of the 2024 season Oluwayemi is a Tottenham Hotspur academy product, joining at the age of 10. Oluwayemi has represented England at under-15 and under-16 level. He started his senior career in October 2020 when he moved to Maidenhead Utd on loan. The 22 year old has had stints at Chelmsford and Portsmouth and Chelmsford.  Oluwayemi can choose to represent either England or Nigeria internationally due to his dual citizenship.  

Matt Macey (Portsmouth):  Portsmouth have signed 29-year-old former Arsenal and Luton goalkeeper Matt Macey on a deal until the end of the 2023/24 season. The 'keeper will provide competition for Pompey number one Will Norris. Macey played for Portsmouth in the second half of last season on loan at the club from Luton. The goalkeeper kept 10 clean sheets in 21 games for Pompey. Macey was signed by Bristol Rovers as a full-time scholar in 2011 and has variously had stints at Arsenal, Luton, Plymouth and Hibernian.  (

Alex Rando (New York City FC): New York City FC have signed goalkeeper Alex Rando. Alex joins the first team on a Homegrown contract after coming up through the NYCFC academy. He subsequently attend Stanford, then transferred from Stanford to the University of Virginia where he played one season of collegiate soccer before leaving to pursue his professional career. He most recently played two seasons for NYCFC II in MLS NEXT Pro. The 22-year-old has racked up considerable experience, notably making 32 starts across two seasons for NYCFC II, and 27 starts for Las Vegas Lights FC in the USL Championship in 2021. 

Jonathan Mitchell (Harrogate Town): Goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell has extended his contract with Harrogate Town until the end of the season. The 29-year-old joined the club in November to cover Mark Oxley's injury absence, but has been made only six appearances since suffering a knee injury. Mitchell, who began his career at Newcastle, has played for Northampton, Derby and Doncaster among other clubs.

• ARSEBLOG NEWS: Sarah Bouhaddi (Arsenal Women): Arsenal Women are reportedly set to sign former Lyon goalkeeper and eight time Champions League winner Sarah Bouhaddi on a short term deal to cover the absences of Sabrina D’Angelo and Kaylan Marckese. The 37-year-old is currently a free agent after spells with OL Reign in the US and Paris Saint Germain. Bouhaddi won 11 league titles and 8 Champions League titles with Lyon.

THURSDAY 11TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Harry Lewis (Carlisle United): Carlisle United have signed Bradford City goalkeeper Harry Lewis for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year deal. The 26-year-old's move to Brunton Park will see him at the EFL League One club until the summer of 2026. Lewis began his career at hometown club Shrewsbury Town, progressing through their academy before joining then-Premier League side Southampton in 2015. 

Jamie Cumming (Oxford United): 24-year-old goalkeeper Jamie Cumming has joined League One side Oxford United from Chelsea on a loan deal for the remainder of the season. The 24-year-old has been with the Blues since he was an Under-8 in the club’s development centre programme. The goalkeeper has had four loan spells, at Stevenage, Gillingham and two spells at MK Dons (where he was voted the men’s player of the year, and players’ player of the year) gaining extensive experience, although he has yet to make his senior debut at Chelsea. 

Sam Walker (Bradford City): Bradford City have signed former Colchester and Kilmarnock goalkeeper Sam Walker on an 18-month deal. The 32-year-old was a free agent following the end of his short-term contract with League One outfit Charlton Athletic. Walker replaces Harry Lewis as the Bantams' number one after Lewis moved to EFL League One club Carlisle United. Walker's career, which began at Chelsea Academy included winning the FA Youth Cup in 2010, loan spells at Barnet, Northampton Town, Yeovil Town and Bristol Rovers, followed by two loan stints at Colchester United which ended with the goalkeeper being given a permanent contract. From his next club Reading he moved to Kilmarnock. In total Walker has racked up over 350 appearances in his career to date. 

George Wickens (Ross County): Ross County sign goalkeeper George Wickens on loan from Fulham for the rest of the season. Wickens' career began at Fulham's Academy in 2018 where he joined the U18s. The 22-year-old later spent the 2021/22 season at England National League Club Wealdstone where he kept 12 clean sheets and won two fan awards. Last summer he was linked with moves to Nottingham Forest and Luton Town as well as Championship side Southampton. The 6ft 5ins goalkeeper, who has also represented England at under-18 level, will provide competition and cover for County number one Ross Laidlaw. 

James Belshaw (Harrogate Town): Harrogate Town have re-signed goalkeeper James Belshaw on an 18-month deal from third tier club Bristol Rovers for an undisclosed fee. Prior to his re-signing, the 33-year-old spent four seasons with the Pirates, between 2017 and 2021, and was part of the team that won promotion to the EFL in 2020. After the Rovers' sensational 2021/22 campaign the goalkeeper earned himself the accolade Rovers' Player of the Year. Harrogate Town currently compete in League Two. 

WEDNESDAY 10TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Agustín Marchesín (Grêmio):  35-year-old veteran Argentine international goalkeeper Agustín Marchesín moves to Brazilian Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Grêmio on a free transfer contract running to 31st December 2025, following a spell at Celta Vigo disrupted by an Achilles injury. Marchesín began his career with Lanús, making 222 appearances and winning the Copa Sudamericana in 2013. After spending several years in Mexico's Liga MX, he joined Porto in 2019, moving to Celta Vigo in 2022.

Luca Ashby-Hammond (Notts County): Fulham goalkeeper Luca Ashby-Hammond has joined Notts County on loan until the end of the season. The 22-year-old spent the first half of the season with Crawley Town where he made 11 appearances on loan, but was recalled early from his loan to join the Magpies. Luca is the brother of Taye Ashby Hammond, who plays for Stevenage FC. Ashby-Hammond is the second signing Notts have made in the January transfer window. 

Adam Beaudry (Colorado Rapids): Colorado Rapids have signed a four-year contract with teenage goalkeeper Adam Beaudry who hails from Castle Pines, Colorado, making him a homegrown player of the team with options for the 2028 and 2029 seasons. Beaudry made his professional debut for Rapids 2 on April 30, 2023 and has gone on to play 16 matches as a starter and got three clean sheets. He is a finalist for the prestigious 2023 MLS NEXT Pro goalkeeper of the year award.

RUMOURED DEALS: 

• YAHOO SPORT: Harry Lewis (Bradford City):  Carlisle United are being strongly linked with a move for Bradford City goalkeeper Harry Lewis. The Cumbrians have been looking for a new No1 for a while and have identified 26-year-old Lewis who has been impressive this season for the Bantams as their regular No1 this season making 31 appearances over all competitions.
• IRISH INDEPENDENT: Dean Lyness (St. Patrick's Athletic): Bohemians could make a move to sign St Patrick’s Athletic’s FAI Cup winning goalkeeper Dean Lyness to replace James Talbot who has stepped away from the game to focus on his mental health. 32-year-old Lyness Lyness began his career as a youngster with Birmingham City but never played for the first team. He signed for Heart of Midlothian in 2009, and went on loan to East Fife. His career has seen him variously play for Burton Albion, Blackpool, St Mirren and Raith Rovers, amongst other clubs. 

TUESDAY 9TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Nicky Evrard (Chelsea): Brighton and Belgium women's national team goalkeeper Nicky Evrard returns to parent club Chelsea after sustaining a hamstring injury whilst on international duty. 28-year-old Evrard joined Brighton on a season-long loan from Chelsesa last year. The Blues confirmed that Evrard is “expected to be sidelined for a significant period of time”. 

Vitezslav Jaros (Sturm Graz): Liverpool goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros will spend the rest of the season on loan with Austrian Bundesliga club Sturm Graz, as confirmed by both clubs. Jaros spent the first half of the season back at Liverpool. He signed a six-month loan deal with Sturm Graz after extending his contract with Liverpool. The 22-year old ‘keeper joined the Reds U18 squad from Slavia Prague in 2017, followed by spells at St. Patrick’s, Notts County and Stockport. 

Joe Walsh (Accrington Stanley): QPR goalkeeper Joe Walsh has had his emergency loan with Accrington Stanley extended. The move is subject to EFL and FA ratification. Walsh is a product of Gillingham's youth system and signed his first professional contract in May 2019, before making eight first team appearances for The Gills. He moved to QPR in January 2021. 

Ryan Sandford (Crawley Town): EFL League Two club Crawley Town have signed former Millwall goalkeeper Ryan Sandford on an initial deal that will run until the end of the 2023/2024 season. The 24-year-old came through the Millwall academy at The Den but did not play a first-team game for the Lions. He had loan spells with Welling, Dover, Dorking, Maidstone, and Weymouth before moving to AFC Wimbledon and Dartford for short spells after leaving Millwall last year.

RUMOURED DEALS:

• VITAL OXFORD UNITED: Jamie Cumming (Chelsea): Oxford United are said to be looking to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Jamie Cumming as a replacement for James Beadle after the goalkeeper departed to Sheffield Wednesday. 24-year-old Cumming, who is out of contract in the summer has spent time on loan at Stevenage, Gillingham and MK Dons (where he won Player of the Year), but has yet to make a senior Chelsea appearance. 

MONDAY 8TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

James Beadle (Sheffield Wednesday): 20-year-old goalkeeper James Beadle joins Championship side Sheffield Wednesday on loan from parent club Brighton and Hove Albion until the end of the season. Beadle impressed whilst on loan at Oxford where he made 25 League One appearance. The shot stopper will team up with his former Albion academy goalkeeper coach Sal Bibbo, who is now on the staff at the Owls. Beadle has played for England at U15, U16 and U18 at youth levels, represented the U19s in qualifying games and made his U20 debut during the 0–0 draw with Iraq in early 2023.

Will Dennis (Bournemouth): Bournemouth goalkeeper Will Dennis has signed a new two-year deal with the Cherries, which sees his stay at the club extended to beyond the end of the season. The 23-year-old academy graduate has made one senior appearance for the Cherries, appearing between the sticks for the third round FA Cup game against Oldham Athletic in 2021. Dennis is currently on loan at Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock where he has kept 11 clean sheets in 28 appearances. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

• DAILY RECORD: Callan McKenna (Queen's Park): Manchester United are reported to be at an advanced stage in talks to  seal a six figure deal for 17-year-old Scottish goalkeeper Callan McKenna. The fee would reportedly be a six-figure transfer sum, ‘loaded with add-ons’ which could increase it to seven figures. The talented shot-stopper progressed through the Queen’s Park academy into their first-team, after previous spells at Celtic and Hibs.The Scotland under-19 cap has already made seven first-team appearances for the Spiders this season before he was sidelined by injury. 

SUNDAY 7TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

John McCarthy (LA Galaxy): LA Galaxy sign free agent goalkeeper John McCarthy to a one-year contract on a free transfer through the 2025 MLS season. The former Philadelphia Union shot-stopper is expected to become the starter for the Gs. The experienced 31-year-old joins Galaxy having made just under 170 club appearances, keeping 15 clean sheets in 68 games split across Philadelphia Union, Inter Miami CF and LAFC. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

• HULL LIVE: Ivor Pandur (Fortuna Sittard): Hull City are hoping to sign Croatian Under-21 international goalkeeper Ivor Pandur from Dutch Ere Divisie side Fortuna Sittard on a permanent move. Discussions are understood to be an advanced stage with Sittard. The 23-year-old 'keeper has represented his country at every age group from Under-15 through to Under-21s and was in the Croatian squad for last summer's European Championships.  
• SHEFFIELD UTD NEWS: Danny Ward (Leicester City): Sheffield United are interested in signing Leicester City goalkeeper Danny Ward. Ward is currently third choice at Championship leaders Leicester City. He was dropped as the number one for Daniel Iversen and has never regained his place in the starting 11. Ward still has a year-and-a-half left to run on the contract extension that he signed in 2021.

SATURDAY 6TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Marcelo Pitaluga (St Patrick's Athletic): Irish Premier Division club St Patrick's Athletic FC have signed 21-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga on loan from Liverpool.  The Brazilian is highly rated at Liverpool although he has yet to play for the first team. Pitaluga joined Liverpool from Fluminense in 2020, and joined English non-league club Macclesfield in 2022, where he made 17 league appearances on loan. He has just signed a contract extension at Liverpool. 

Ross Stewart (Partick Thistle): Scottish Championship side Partick Thistle have announced the signing of goalkeeper Ross Stewart until the end of the season, subject to Scottish FA clearance, with the option to extend his contract for a further year. Stewart's most recent club was Hearts, where he spent three seasons and where he served as a back up to number one 'keeper Craig Gordon. Stewart came up through the ranks at Motherwell and his career has seen him at clubs including St. Mirren, Livingston and Queen of the South.

Henrich Ravas (The New England Revolution): New England Revolution have announced the signing of Slovak goalkeeper Henrich Ravas from Polish club Widzew Łódź, a club in the Ekstraklasa League, on an MLS contract through the 2026 season, with an additional club option for 2027. Ravas, 26, spent three  successful three years at Widzew Łódź, Poland’s first division. His seven-year professional career has seen the goalkeeper also playing at FK Senica in the Slovak Super League and at English sides Boston United, Gainsborough Trinity, and Hartlepool United. Transfer fee is unknown as yet. 

Jahmali Waite (El Paso Locomotive): El Paso Locomotive FC has signed Reggae Boyz goalkeeper Jahmali Waite on a free transfer ahead of the 2024 USL Championship season, after two seasons with Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC. Waite was awarded the 2023 USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Year having started in all 50 of his appearances for Pittsburgh, registering 17 clean sheets and 87 saves. The 25-year-old is regularly called up to the Jamaica Men’s National Team, where he made his international debut against Cameroon in 2022. 

RUMOURED DEALS:

• THE SCOTTISH SUN: Jonathan Klinsmann (Free Agent, previously LA Galaxy): Hibs manager Nick Montgomery is looking to add another goalkeeper to his squad, with the object of his interest reported to be the son of German World Cup legend Jurgen. 26-year-old Jonathan is currently a free agent after being released by LA Galaxy. Previous clubs include Hertha Berlin and Swiss side FC St Gallen. Klinsmann joined  Galaxy in 2020, and made 17 appearances for the club. 
• AREA NAPOLI: Michele Di Gregorio (AC Monza): Newcastle United are said to have identified AC Monza goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio to cover injured number one Nick Pope, as they look to take on a goalkeeper in the January transfer window. The 26-year old Italian goalkeeper is attracting interest from an number of European clubs due to his fine form this season, playing 17 times for AC Monza, during which time he has conceded only 17 goals and kept six clean sheets.

FRIDAY 5TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Josh Keeley (Barnet): Irish goalkeeper Josh Keeley has joined National League side Barnet on loan from Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the season. The 20-year-old, from Dunboyne, joined Tottenham from St Patrick’s Athletic on a free transfer at the start of the 2022/23 season and was part of their pre-season squad.

Daniel Iversen (Stoke City): 26-year-old Danish goalkeeper Daniel Iversen has left Leicester City to join Stoke on loan until the end of the season. The former Denmark youth international joined the Foxes at 18, moving to Oldham Athletic, Rotherham, Belgian club OH Leuven and Preston North End, where he was named player of the year in 2022. Iversen had not played a competitive match for City since May 2023. 

Archie Mair (Morecambe): EFL League Two club Morecambe have signed Norwich City goalkeeper Archie Mair on loan for the rest of the season. The 22-year-old started his career with the youth teams of Aberdeen and Norwich City and spent loan spells with numerous clubs including Gateshead where he made 27 appearances. Mair has also represented Scotland at youth international level.

Shae Yanez (Bristol City): Bristol City have announced the permanent signing of 26-year-old goalkeeper Shae Yanez. The goalkeeper joins City from National Women’s Soccer League club San Diego Wave after a short spell on the West Coast of America. Yanez previously spent three seasons with London City Lionesses where she racked up a record 24 clean sheets for the club in 72 appearances.

RUMOURED DEALS:

• FOOTBALL TRANSFERS: Jose Sa (Wolverhampton Wanderers): Nottingham Forest are again interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Jose Sa. The Portuguese international was recommended to Forest's head coach Nuno by former scouts of Porto whilst he was at Wolves. Sa rejected Forest back in the summer to sign a new contract at Wolves.

THURSDAY 4TH JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Zack Steffen (Colorado Rapids): The Colorado Rapids have signed goalkeeper Zack Steffen on a three-year contract until 2026 with a club option for an additional year.. In order to sign Steffen, Colorado first acquired his discovery rights from the New England Revolution in exchange for $50,000 in 2024 General Allocation Money (GAM). Steffen, 28, joins Colorado after four seasons with Manchester City Football Club in the English Premier League. 

Kaylan Marckese (Arsenal): The American goalkeeper leaves her loan club Bristol City to return to her parent club Arsenal Women to complete rehab on her ACL injury which she picked up against Aston Villa in November, for which she has had surgery. Marckese signed for the Gunners from FC Koge in the summer of 2022 and was loaned out to Bristol City for this season.

Fintan Doherty (Institute): NIFL Championship club Institute FC have confirmed the signing of 19-year-old Derry goalkeeper Fintan Doherty on a free transfer. Doherty came up through the ranks with Bonagee United before moving to Derry City and has represented the Republic of Ireland at underage level. 

Jed Steer (Peterborough United): Peterborough have signed ex-Aston Villa goalkeeper and former England U19 international Jed Steer, on a "short-term" free transfer deal as cover for Nicholas Bilokapic who is currently out through injury. Steer's career includes periods playing for Luton Town and Charlton before joining Villa.  

RUMOURED DEALS:

• THE ATHLETIC: Mary Earps (Manchester United): Paris Saint-Germain are reported to be interested in signing Manchester United goalkeeper Mary Earps, whose current contract will expire in June. Earps is said to be undecided about her future, but with only six months remaining on her contract, she is able to talk to other clubs outside of England.  

WEDNESDAY 3RD JANUARY

CONFIRMED DEALS:

Augusto Batalla (Granada): 27-year-old Buenos Aires-born goalkeeper and former Argentina youth international Batalla joins Spanish La Liga club Granada on loan from Argentinian club River Plate, with a purchase option to buy in the summer should Granada avoid relegation.

Lapo Navа (AC Milan): AC Milan have extended the contract of young goalkeeper Lapo Navа until summer 2027. Navа is a product of Milan's youth academy but has yet to play for the senior team. He was as the primary goalkeeper for Milan's U19 team, which reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Youth League 2022/23.

Josh Jeffries (Worthing): 18-year-old Southampton Academy goalkeeper has joined National League South side Worthing on loan, his first senior loan move, having made three league appearances for the under-21s this season. Jeffries joined Saints from Hampshire club Eastleigh last April when he was 16 years old.  

RUMOURED DEALS:

• TALKSPORT NEWS: Kasper Schmeichel (Anderlecht): TalkSport News are reporting that former Leicester City and Nice and current Anderlecht goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is being targeted by Sheffield United. The club are said to be looking to land Schmeichel quickly and discussions have been progressing regarding doing the deal. Schmeichel is understood to be open to a move. 
• FABRIZIO ROMANO: Zak Steffen (Manchester City): Fabrizio Romano reports on Twitter that Manchester City and U.S. national team  goalkeeper Zack Steffen has completed a medical at Colorado Rapids and is set to leave England next week in order to join the MLS side on a permanent deal. The 28-year-old joined City from the Columbus Crew in 2019 and subsequently went out on loan to a number of clubs including Fortuna Dusseldorf and EFL Championship side Middlesbrough.

CONFIRMED DEALS:

James Beadle (Brighton & Hove Albion): Brighton goalkeeper James Beadle, currently on loan at Oxford United, has signed a new contract with the Seagulls, keeping him at the club until June 2028. Beadle joined Brighton in January 2022 and spent the second half of last season on loan with Crewe Alexandra.

Jameson Horlick (Dorchester Town): Luton Town Academy graduate goalkeeper signs new contract extension with the Hatters and joins Southern Premier South side Dorchester Town on loan until the end of the season. The 20-year-old goalkeeper joined the club as an Under-12 and has been in and around the first team since signing a professional development contract in 2021.

RUMOURED DEALS:

• THE ATHLETIC: Sam Johnstone (Crystal Palace): As reported in The Athletic, Newcastle are said to be interested in signing former Manchester United and current Crystal Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone. With a release clause in the region of £10m, Johnstone is an affordable prospect for Newcastle. 
• THE IRISH SUN: Filip Marschall (Aston Villa): MK Dons are moving for 20-year-old Aston Villa back-up goalkeeper Filip Marschall. Marschall, who is also eligible to represent Poland on the national stage, enjoyed two loans spells under Dons manager Mike Williamson at non-league Gateshead.
• ROTHERHAM ADVERTISER: Viktor Johansson (Rotherham United): Boss Leam Leam Richardson admits it's a possibility that the club would consider selling Swedish international goalkeeper Viktor Johansson during this transfer window for the right price. Johansson signed a new contract a year ago tying him to Rotherham until the end of next season.
